Pachy García’s musical journey began in Puerto Rico with the guitar, but his passion for early Jamaican music led him to explore piano, bass, and eventually drums after relocating to Los Angeles. There, he formed Prettiest Eyes and started collecting vintage recording equipment from thrift stores, gradually building a DIY studio known as 333 House. Inspired by dub pioneers like Scientist and King Tubby, he immersed himself in classic recording techniques, crafting hypnotic, rhythm-driven tracks.     Pachy García’s musical evolution has been shaped by a deep connection to early Jamaican sounds and a hands-on approach to recording. Every step of the recording was done independently—playing all the instruments, layering the sounds, and finally mixing everything in a single live dub take. His work not only channels the spirit of classic reggae but also showcases a deeply personal and hands-on approach to music production. Documenting his creative process on Instagram, he gives an inside look at the magic behind the music, offering glimpses of the rhythmic, hypnotic sounds taking shape in 333 House.

    Wine Lips have been on a wild, high-energy ride since forming in Toronto in 2015. What started as a part-time project between frontman and songwriter Cam Hilborn and powerhouse drummer Aurora Evans quickly transformed into a full-time international sensation. Their raw, psych-fueled garage punk sound caught fire with the release of their debut album, leading to extensive North American touring and, unexpectedly, a whirlwind tour across Hong Kong and China.     The legendary artist’s most recent critically acclaimed LP ‘Piece of Me’ was released on Big Crown Records last year. While her debut in 1998 sonically showcased the dexterous range of Lady Wray’s voice and songwriting by leaning toward soul and R&B with tinges of hip-hop. On ‘Piece of Me’, we still hear R&B but with a heavy dose of soul. Think boom-bap-smacked drums and chunky basslines front-and-center, all creating a head-noddingly dense backdrop for Lady Wray to traverse—much like the era in which she was first introduced to us. In some ways, Piece of Me is like a Big-Crown-ification of late 90s R&B—and Lady Wray is right at home.

    Like most artists, Nicole Wray’s life in music has always reflected her real life. As a fifteen-year-old in Virginia, she auditioned for Missy Elliot in her mother’s home. Even then, with her voice so full and arresting—Missy signed her on the spot. Later, in 1998, merely two years after that tryout, she had a debut solo album and a single that smashed up radio and TV, quickly going gold. But back then—young and unsure—Nicole was essentially following someone else’s lead, signing the lyrics they wrote for her and in the way they wanted them sung.


    Fast forward to now, after a few fits and starts with other labels and projects, and you’ll find a very different Nicole Wray. Today, she’s a mother, a wife, and living for herself and her family. So naturally, this evolution followed into her music: she sings how she wants to, expertly writing lyrics for herself and others. To hear her tell it, it’s these things—and most importantly, an unflinching self-belief—that help lead a young and raw Virginian singer named Nicole to become Lady Wray.

Behind the Green Door & Grotto Terrazza present 🩸MINAMI DEUTSCH🩸 Motorik Beat / Kraut Rock (Japan) Everyone has their own imagination about outer space, and each one of us gets to daydream about what exactly floats or exists there. ‘Fortune Goodies’ is @minamideutsch ’s long-awaited 3rd studio album and an encyclopaedia of Krautrock, as band leader Kyotaro Miula describes it. While not all the songs on the record function as straightforward Krautrock this time around, they still manage to capture the spirit and heart of the genre. After relocating from Tokyo to Berlin, Miula’s musical vocabulary has greatly expanded, thus resulting in this ultimate Japanese take on cosmic music in 2022. Minami Deutsch is a Krautrock band from Tokyo. Formed by Kyotaro Miula in 2014, they got their start playing live music on the busy streets of Tokyo. This lead to their participation in Krautrock Night, a party hosted by Tokyo Psych Fest, and later a tour of Taiwan. In September, 2015, they released their first record through the English cult label Cardinal Fuzz Records. They are now part of the Japanese record label @gurugurubrain. Stripped back to the absolute essentials, each song locks squarely in the groove and begins unfurling its color-soaked fractals. There is not a single bum vibe, yet it’s made by human hands and not by machines. It’s how each song breathes and how it grows in the soil that frees it from the cold, mechanical “motorik” stereotype. Heavily informed by the heritage of the ancient music of the Andes, the band has learned to integrate their origins with contemporary sounds and technologies of our times, creating a rich yet minimal electronic-organic atmosphere. ‘I’ will be their fourth full-length release and third for Sacred Bones, following 2015’s ‘III’, 2013’s ‘II’ and 2009’s eponymous debut. For this warm welcome trip we chose some soulful psychedelia that takes you to orange drenched beaches and azure lagoons. A short break from reality, a daydream of escapism. Isn't that exactly what we need in these dystopian times? Oh - and there might be a slight chance of something something happening this night... we will see. We keep you updated. 🕺🏻 🔮 MARCOCA 🔮 In a time of made up genres and increasingly entwined music, Marcoca is not even trying to put themselves in to a specific category. Generally they consist of five individual musicians with various tastes and backgrounds, that enjoy their differences and don't worry too much about the outcome. Their second project "Cosmic Blunder" originated out of the urge to merge new psychedelic sounds with elements of funk, jazz and surf rock, while keeping the stuff that worked on the first record in place. The result is a reverb soaked ride through songs that cover the ups and downs of life and all the questions that come along with it. Like no other, they manage to transpire the glorious feeling within the Brazilian music movement of the 60's called Tropicalismo. It is way more than a genre, it is a lifestyle, a cultural attitude and idealist concept that still has its place in our modern world. That is why we would like to invite you to a Brazilian evening with Tropicalia-Psychedelic Records and a live performance by Sessa. Leave your everyday life behind and enjoy the light-footed spirit of Brazil. Grandeza, the debut album by Sao Paulo’s Sessa, points to new, subtle directions for modern Brazilian music – a deep, minimalist, almost insinuated use of the rich textures that define the songwriting history of Brazil, one which Sessa now joins among its most promising new voices. His songs are sung in Portuguese, with visceral, sensual lyrics in the vein of Caetano Veloso, and the melodic flourishes of Tom Jobim and Arthur Verocai. However, the music gets a deliberate minimalist treatment rarely found in contemporary Brazilian music, more reminiscent of the bareness of Leonard Cohen, with touches of tropicalia, psychedelia, and the mystic jazz of Moondog and Pharoah Sanders.
