What’s happening Behind the Green Door?

A festival as a passage: four days, three spaces, one uninterrupted journey through music and exploration.
From
September 10–13, 2025, Munich becomes the playground of sonic infinity.

Across
St. Matthäus, ZIRKA, and Import Export, the city opens its doors to the very first edition of
INFINITE
FESTIVAL.

Celebrating its 8th birthday, the Munich collective Behind the Green Door unveils this debut edition: a program that fuses local voices and international sound worlds into one flow, one evolving experience.
What began as an
underground gathering has grown into four days of music without losing its intimacy or sense of discovery.

The program unfolds with
minimal overlaps, guiding audiences through a continuous arc rather than a schedule to chase. On Friday and Saturday, ZIRKA and Import Export open in parallel: two distinct worlds connected by the same pulse. You can cross between rooms, or dive deeper in just one. Beyond the concerts, exhibitions, performances, and yet-to-be-revealed surprises expand the festival into a shared creative meander.

  • Line-up

Across four days, more than 23 acts draw new maps of sound—intimate, volcanic, fragile, ecstatic.

Tomo Katsurada (JP/NL, best known as founder and lead singer of the iconic Kikagaku Moyo) presents luminous new material with special guests. Alabaster dePlume (UK) brings spoken jazz and circular saxophone lines to a super intimate 200-seat concert. Jacco Gardner (NL) unveils Four Corners, a rare quadraphonic encounter of sound and space with legacy analog machines. Ko Shin Moon (FR) fuses Mediterranean strings with synths into cosmic disco. L’Éclair (CH) elevates groove into alchemy, while Simon Popp (DE) treats percussion as storytelling—light against dark, wood against wire. Poeji (MN/DE) bridges Mongolian echoes and experimental rawness.

Around them, a constellation of shapeshifters blurs borders: Teresa Allgaier’s avant-pop delicacy, Mitsune’s shamisen-driven folklore reborn in neon light, Marta de Pascalis’ modular dreamscapes, Lucidvox’s heavy psych storms, Devon Rexi’s polyrhythms, and Baby Berserk’s queer power-pop house (and many, many others).

Each act opens another door of perception.

Stay tuned for the full schedule!
